Year 5 have arrived on Rosham Farm! It’s Day 1 of our school journey and we have been very busy. We walked through the beautiful meadows on the farm, met the animals and enjoyed three different activities .
One activity was learning about compost and looking for all the insects that lived in it. We found out how they help to grow food. The next activity was finding and tasting all the different herbs and vegetables that grew in the gardens. Finally, we made a woven structure using wool. We boarded the coach and headed to our accommodation.
After a delicious dinner, we made some bread and had biscuits by the fireside. Then it was time to relax with some games and colouring. All in all a busy but great day!
