Free-flow in Reception. by Lansbury | Nov 14, 2019 | Poppy Class 2018/19 We have been learning about taking care of our world. Umkhulsum is reading a book about keeping the beach clean and why it is important to recycle. Housna is drawing a picture of herself. She has found her mini-mi to help her remember what she looks like. The children have been role-playing taking care of babies. Maryam is teaching the baby how to wash her hands after using the bathroom. Aayan is exploring building a house. Afsana is making eggs in the sand-tray and using mathematical language – ‘more and ‘fewer’ to explain what she is doing. Tagiba and Umaira are using rice to make the sounds they learnt last week. Afsana and Minjin are reading about princesses and talking about what they find.
