This week we have been talking about lots of festivals, we made our own Diva lamps and spoke about what are traditions that happen for Diwali. We also spoke about fireworks and made our own, we spoke about the many colours of fireworks and the sounds that they make. We stamped paint and sprinkled some glitter to make fireworks. For Rangoli patterns we used glue and sprinkled glitter onto a paper plate.
When we made our Diva lamps we rolled out some clay and made it all flat, then modelled it into a bowl shape so that it could fit a candle inside.
