Last year we began a very exciting collaboration with Akram Khan Company. We were successful in securing funding for a two-year teacher development programme through the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. This enabled us, and four other local schools, to work closely with professional dancers to develop strategies for using dance across the whole curriculum. Ms Haji and Ms Hodge led their year 5 classes through a whole year of dance and movement within every learning area.
