Our First stop was at Romshed Farm where pupils got to visit cows and got really close. Farmer Fidelity taught pupils about the life of the cows, how they are looked after, fed, and the wider ecosystem around the cows such as the beetles that decompose cow dung, or the swallows that fly in from South Africa to eat the flies around the cows! Pupils had a wonderful moment just quietly soaking in the surroundings of the farm such as the smells, sounds and sights around them. Keep an eye out for more updates!
