The first half term in Year 4 kicked off with great excitement! We learnt that Richard III was not such a villain as he was pictured in Shakespeare’s drama. As part of our History theme, we visited the Tower of London and tried to imagine what the setting felt like when it was used as a menagarie, a royal mint or a place of execution. The Jewel House was everyone’s favourite! In October we also had the opportunity to work with architects from the Young City Makers project who taught us about the design process behind city landscaping. Together we visited the Olympic Park in Stratford and in school we cretated an exciting 3D model. We named it the City of Dreamers.
Well done Van Gogh for being so enthusiastic and from now on let’s get ready for the new learning!
