The class enjoyed immersing themselves in reading and other book-related activities today. We were visited by a surprise guest who entertained the children with a reading of The Lost Happy Endings, and we even got to make books of our own.
Shafiur: “I’m going to use my book to collect all my short stories”
Ayath: “My book will be a notebook and a diary that I can use to write down my thoughts and ideas.”
Reading and acting like Gruffalos with year one was great fun too, so we can’t wait until World Book Day next year 📚🤩
