This week Poppy class went out to meet the chickens in the garden. First we had a discussion about what we know about the chickens. We said things like “they have feathers”, “they can flap but they can’t fly”, “people can eat the eggs if there is no chick inside”, “they need to protect their egg to make it crack quicker”. Later on we drew pictures of them.
