Hirst Class Learning Story

Super, spectacular space exploration!

This morning we had the exhilarating experience of going out to space. We learnt about lots of things that we didn’t know about Space such as the Sun being the only star in our Solar System and that Jupiter has a full day that is only 10 hours long. Additionally, did you know that Neptune takes 165 years to do full spin – that means a day in Jupiter is 165 Earth years!

Hirst class Mudlarking

Lucky for us, we didn’t encounter this and instead discovered lots of artefacts that went as far back as the Romans.
