This afternoon it was KS2’s turn to get outside in the cold and enjoys some Forest School activities.

We started with a warm up game of Eagle vs prey…. because we really did need warming up! Then we explored the grounds to see what birds we could spot. Looking up we could see quite a few different varieties and we even managed to catch sight of a goldfinch. After that, we made bird feeders to hang in the trees. The year 5 and 6 bubble also had a go at making a shelter – they showed some great teamwork!

At the end, we warmed up with a mug of hot chocolate. We can’t wait to get out again – although wouldn’t mind if it was a little bit warmer!
