Our topic in Year 1 this term is called ‘Once Upon a Time’. We are learning all about fairy tales. To start our topic we used our Knowledge Organisers to explore some of the vocabulary we will be using as we learn about traditional tales.
We had a lovely time in the royal court (our classroom), listening to the head of state (Ms Dickman) who commanded us to draw castles, palaces, moats, mountains, forests, villages, villains and heroes.
