It wasn’t the half term we had hoped for but having never used Google Meets or Google Classroom before, we are now officially gurus of online learning! Here are some of the things we have been up to!
Keeping mathematical
In maths we have been learning all about the numbers 1-20 and developing our number sense.
Keeping creative
We have been doing lots of creative things, including designing our own puppets with Ms Sellens, drawing pictures from stories and making the most of the snow this week!
Keeping Reading
All the children have continued practising their phonics every day and reading their books, on Reading Eggs and offline! Here is Juweriyah enjoying a bedtime story!
Keeping connected
Finally, we have loved staying connected through our weekly circle times as well as sharing with each other on our Google Classroom. The children have really impressed me with their supportive comments online and how they have made each other laugh despite not being together at school! Here are some of our circle time highlights!
