Over the last few weeks there have been lots of fireworks at night time to celebrate Diwali and Bonfire Night. In nursery we watched a video of a firework display on an iPad. Afterwards we discussed the fireworks that we had seen and the sounds that we had heard. Some of us had a go at making firework pictures.
We used paint to stamp a firework pattern onto our picture. We sprinkled our pictures with glitter to make them sparkle like the fireworks we had seen.
On Thursday we had 2 minute silence for Remembrance Day. We talked about how some people wore poppies as a sign of respect to remember the people who had fought in the war. Some of us had a go at making a poppy using tissue paper.
