There was excitement at having a few new beds in the Edible Garden! Joe has worked hard to use up some space near the Community room for more planting. Children helped to fill them up with soil, ready for planting. Year 6 planted seeds in week one with Joe, followed by planting tomatoes in the new beds in week two.
Mrs Boglietti showed children how to make a fire using the flint and steel. They were really excited by the thought of being able to start a fire!! They found sticks for the fire. Once the fire was started, the water was boiled. It was used to make the custard which went down a treat!
