Children from Peggy Angus loved getting on to the ice for their ice-skating treat at Canary Wharf. There were screams of joy and trepidation as they stepped gingerly onto the ice. After the first slide and glide, many soon realised it was going to be harder than it looked. Many fell (including myself) , got up and had another go at it, despite soggy bottoms and a bump.
