I am very happy to announce that the Lansbury Lawrence School Choir have been selected to perform at The Wilton’s Music 4 All Festival on Wednesday 13th May 2020. Wilton’s music hall is the oldest grand music hall in the world and is hosting a world premiere of the Wilton’s Music 4 all Festival from the 11th May-16th May 2020.
Wilton’s has always been an exceptional place for an audience to hear live music but it has also built up a reputation for world-class musicians performing and recording in the space, such as: Duran Duran, The Weeknd, Marc Almond, Kate Bush, The Coral, Bryan Ferry, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Kelis, Mumford and Sons and Paulo Nutini.
Our school choir will receive mentoring from a professional individual or organisation, a week’s rehearsal time at Wilton’s (Jan-April 2020). An evening performance as part of the Wilton’s Music 4 all Festival in May 2020 and Festival Pass/es to see all other performances at the Festival for free.
It will be very exciting for our school choir to perform in one of London’s most prestigious and historically important theatres next year. Can’t wait!
