On Thursday, year 4 went on a trip to the Tower of London. We had a fantastic time and learnt so much.

Here are some of the things we learnt, enjoyed or want to learn more about.

“I learnt that the ravens are kept at the Tower of London to protect it and so it won’t break.” – Yusrah

“Something I learnt at the Tower of London was that the guards are called Yeomen.” – Talha

“I enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels, they were shiny.” – Maher

“Something I enjoyed was finding out the ravens’ names. Cora is the one with the pink strap and Groggie is the one with the blue strap.” – Imani

“I want to learn more about the Crown Jewels and people who used to wear them.” – Arisha

“I want to learn more about the princes in the tower and how they escaped.” – Aaliyah

Here are some of the things we saw, thought and wondered.

“I saw the Yeoman Warders and the Crown Jewels” – Shazia

“I saw lots of crowns that belonged to different Kings and Queens. For example, Queen Mary and Henry IV.” – Muhsina

“I thought that if you got too close to the ravens they might attack you.” – Uthman

“I wondered if anyone would try to steal the Crown Jewels today. I also wondered what Charles III’s crown will look like.” – Yahya

“I wondered what the Crown Jewels were made out of.” – Amara
