On today’s trip we looked and learnt about volcanic eruptions. We visited a room where we met a member of the museum named Anthony. He showed us different rocks from when a volcano erupted and left behind some pieces. I learnt that lava is about 60 or 70 kilometres thick.

On our trip we learnt about mountains and volcanoes and we became scientists in order to save people in lands that are destroyed by volcanoes.

On our trip, we visited the History Museum. Since we had been there before so we already knew a lot. We have been learning about the structure of the Earth, which made the visit even more interesting. We learned that the Earth is made up of different layers, the core (which is like the centre of an apple) the crust (which is similar to a thin outer layer like breadcrumbs) and the layers in between, which make up the rest of our wonderful planet. We also saw rocks that were part of the volcanoes. I learnt that lava turns into rocks when the volcanoes erupts. I also learnt that it is also known as igneous rocks. We have been learning about rocks last term too!

Rayyan

On our trip we learnt about earthquakes and volcanoes. It was so interesting because we have been learning about it in class as well.
