Year 3 are learning why our school is special this half term, as part of our school-wide community learning theme. One of the reasons our school is special is because it was built as part of the Festival of Britain in 1951. Integral to the school’s design, we have several tile murals by the designer Peggy Angus.
Year 3 created their own printing plates, and tile designs, to print a repeated pattern reminiscent of Angus’ work.
