This week we set up our classroom so that each area was based on a story-book. And today, for the day itself, we made our own story-books.
After our story, we talk about how to make our own books. Safa folds a page for her book. Ryan wants his book to be tall. Adyan is working on his story-book. Maraljin is making lots of little pages. Zara is making an under the sea story, inspired by ‘Tadpole’s Promise.’ Sarah explores how to stick her pages together. Minh is giving his book a title. Some children have been exploring floating and sinking, inspired by one of our story books. Rebecca designed her own garden, based on our story – ‘Errol’s Garden.’Haydn has made a dinosaur story. Mi’Layah is exploring riding a bus through different textures, inspired by our story ‘Naughty Bus.’ Sadid is making his book.
