As part of the Charles Dickens Museum / Wilton’s Music Hall partnership, Year 5 visited this wonderful building to take part in the second part of their Charles Dickens workshop. Each group presented scenes and used dramatic conventions such as mime, tableau, scenes from Oliver Twist and an inspiring piece taking on Charles Dickens interviewing John Wilton.

The children were enthralled with the opportunity to perform on the stage of the grandest and oldest music hall in the world. Our school is most grateful to all the organisers involved including the very talented pianist Andrew who accompanied us with originally composed music for each group.
