In Kapoor class we have a busy six weeks. As well as going to the farm and writing about our trip in English Lessons, we learned about positional and directional language in Maths. In our Wider Curriculum lessons, we enjoyed learning about editing text on our computers, online safety and seasonal and daily weather patters in the UK.

What is the weather today? The different types of weather.

Recognition for following the three rules: Be Respectful, Be Safe and Be committed.

All week we strive to get our names from the land to the sun. When all children achieve this we have Fun Friday. This means we can get out the Lego, create and draw and play with our friends. We really enjoy this free time, and we know to achieve it we must all work as a team.

Trip to the farm:

Our trip to Mudchute farm was fabulous. We had great weather, helpful parents and excited children. We really enjoyed the rural setting in amongst the Urban environment.

Top Tokens:

As well as striving to achieve Fun Friday, we also have the opportunity to win Tokens. These can be given to individual children for their effort or for the whole class when they practice quiet transitions, kind actions and following the school rules. We have won two prizes. These are:

  • Time in the Early Year Hub, visiting Reception and Nursery classes and seeing our old teachers.
  • A picnic with delicious food; watermelon, tomatoes, cheese, crackers, crisps and biscuits.

Our Picnic:

We had our picnic in our playground. We played first then enjoyed the picnic. We enjoyed time together sharing food and having fun.
