We have had an amazing start to the new school year in Reception and it has been wonderful to welcome both familiar and new faces into Hamilton Class. It has been incredible to see how much the children have grown and matured over the summer holidays. They have returned with smiling faces, eager attitudes, and a real excitement for learning.
The children have settled brilliantly into their new classroom and have thoroughly enjoyed exploring all of the different areas and provisions available to them. Some particular favourites so far have been the sand tray and the playdough table, which have certainly been a huge hit! We have loved seeing the children’s creativity flourish as they made all sorts of imaginative creations, including pizzas, cakes, and many other wonderful masterpieces.
It has also been fantastic to see the children playing so well together, making new friendships, sharing resources, and showing kindness and respect towards one another. Their confidence is already beginning to shine through, and they have embraced the start of Reception with enthusiasm and curiosity.
We are incredibly proud of how well the children have settled in and cannot wait to see what the year ahead will bring. We look forward to watching Hamilton Class continue to grow, learn, and develop into even more bright, confident, and happy individuals throughout the year.
Here’s to an exciting year ahead!
