We really enjoyed designing, preparing and sewing our puppets. Although we found we had to be very resilient when sewing, as this skill is not easy and requires lots of practice.
First, we had to design our puppets; thinking about their features, materials and how they would look.
Next, the children collected their resources and started creating their puppets features and clothes.
Lastly, Kapoor class really worked hard to try and sew the hair or ears for the puppets. Sewing was a skill that needed lots of practice.
We really enjoyed the day, it was challenging but we managed to produce a puppet that we were proud of.
