Monday was science day, and we asked lots and lots of questions because we had to be curious. In a special assembly, some people who use science every day in their jobs came to talk to the whole school about what they do. That was extremely interesting and we were lucky to hear from all of them. Afterwards, we learnt the difference between living and non-living, and we explored objects to put them into groups. At the end of the day, we found food-chains around our school.

Later in the week, we went on a trip to the town hall for music. The town hall is a special place, and we had the chance to perform new songs.

This week, we also learnt that you can give too much water to a plant. We found out that we shouldn’t over-water Blossom. That doesn’t mean we should give no water, but having more than enough can be a bad thing. We said it is okay to make mistakes, so now the class gardeners know what to do.

Geography was great too, and we used what we know about human and physical features to discover UK landmarks in a book called an atlas. An atlas has maps of land and water in the world, and you can use it to learn about countries.
