This week at Forest School, our activities were linked to our three important school rules: being safe, committed and respectful. The children showed great teamwork, focus, and care for one another while enjoying the outdoors.

* Respectful – We began by looking after our environment. Everyone joined in to pick up litter and rescue toys that had been left behind, reminding ourselves how important it is to respect our surroundings and keep our Forest School area clean.

*Committed – Next, we worked on our attention skills with a fun memory challenge. Children looked at a tray of 10 objects for 30 seconds and then set off to find the same items hidden in the Forest School area. It was tricky but exciting! A big well done to Dawud’s team, who scored 6 out of 10.

*Safe – Finally, we played a blindfolded guiding game. One partner wore a blindfold while their friend carefully guided them through the playground. This activity helped us practise trust, communication, and keeping each other safe.

Year 5 did a brilliant job this week showing how we can put our school rules into action while learning in nature.
