We had an assembly based on road safety called “More Important Things”. The actors from Half Moon Theatre were incredibly entertaining and made us realise how we should think and behave when crossing the road.

“I feel more aware about road safety. It was funny and the message was put across nicely. My best advice is for people to not use their phones when crossing the roads and to always look left and right before crossing.” Fahim

“I liked the actors – especially Ryan – because they were really funny. The ending was good because we were able to help them cross the road safely.” Rahed

Best advice when crossing the road:

  • Remove earphones/headphones
  • Ensure you can see clearly – remove hoods or caps
  • Look left and right, several times
  • Cross once the green man is shown
  • Walk, as running is dangerous
