We have been writing our own Beyond the Pond stories this week. We have our own characters, and we changed some of the detail about the story. Some of of our stories are set in a cave and they have monsters. We used expanded noun phrases, and Ms Bennett listened to us read when she came to class.
In maths we have been drawing all kinds of shapes using symmetry, and I found out I did well in our quiz last week. Our star words have been 2D, 3D, sides and vertices. We learnt new words and new movements in PE too. Now, we know about balancing, rolling and how to make shapes with a group; Sulayman was star of the lesson.
Blossom is our class plant, and she is growing. Different class gardeners are looking after the plant every week. We think we are doing well, and we don’t know what flower it will become yet.
