We’re not sure what we are going to call our new creative area at Lansbury Lawrence. It only opened today, and so far we have some very good suggestions including the Creative Corner or Super Arty Cave or Peaceful Place… the arts council will vote on the final name soon.
The space is from the imaginations of the Arts Council, working alongside artist Jenny Pengilly from Bow Arts. They have designed it to be calming and fun, and a space for children to use at lunchtimes when they don’t want to be outside. They worked through the initial design process, to producing and installing. Have a look at the gallery today to see the journey from start to finish, and some happy customers using the space for the first time today!
