Hello! Our class is called Peggy Angus. Yesterday we had our introduction to Yr6. We discussed our expectations, things that are the same and different now that we’re in Yr6.
Also, we made our made a class contract based on the school rules Be Respectful, Be Safe and be Committed and learning dispositions. We also went to the Library. We picked various books such as Gangsta Granny and explored many more Genres. We look forward to visiting the library weekly as there are more books to choose. In addition, we made personalised bookmarks which described our personality and hobbies. We got brand new equipment and organised everything neatly in our trays.
Today, we wrote letters to ourselves and set goals for the year. We will open the letters at the end of the year. We did a short lesson covering roman numerals and learnt how to remember them. We also learnt about how our book presentation should look and be.

We made book covers in the design of Peggy Angus and had lots of fun. Peggy Angus is famous for her tiles and for getting a scholarship and for having such majestic and amazing artwork.
in the afternoon, we made a class video. We hope you enjoy watching it. We can’t wait to watch it back especially when we receive our SATs results and see how much progress we’ve made.
