Our school is a Philosophy for Children Gold school. We are proud that we encourage children to turn their thinking into talk. We are teaching the children to:
Learn about talk
Learn to talk
Learn through talk
Currently, we are aspiring to achieve ‘Oracy Bronze’. Our first step is to have talk guidelines in each class, that are used by adults and children to ensure children can articulate clearly through talk and writing. Developing articulacy skills is also one of our school Learning Dispositions.
