Dear Parents and Carers

This week Van Gogh Class performed on stage at St Pauls Way School as part of their Tower Voices project with the Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service. They have been practising their songs over the last term, and sounded amazing. Well done Van Gogh Class! We are proud of our children’s singing at Lansbury Lawrence, and another fantastic performance was by the school choir at Chrisp Street market last Friday. The whole school is busy practising songs at the moment, preparing for the Christmas performances. Please do try and attend your child’s performance; the dates are at the bottom of this newsletter.

Coding with our new Chromebooks

Peggy Angus Class had a great afternoon inaugurating the school Chromebooks. Pupils were able to spend a lesson learning about coding through the website ‘Hour of Code’. Pupils were able to code: barbie, flappy bird, street artist, boat race and mine-craft. Great fun!

The Lansbury Lawrence Ukulele Club performed in assembly today.

Well done to our learners of the week!
