Dear Parents and Carers

What a year 2020 has been at Lansbury Lawrence. As a school and a community, we could never have expected or prepared for what happened and it has been amazing to watch our children and our community stay positive throughout this time.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff for their dedication. Whether it was Home Learning, Key Worker Provision, vouchers and food parcels, keeping the children safe, or making learning happen in these most unusual circumstances, every member of staff has given their all.

We’re very proud to have been one of the few schools to open to all children by the end of June and we could only do that because of the commitment of the staff and the trust of our parents.

I’d also like to thank you, all of our parents, for your incredible support. It means so much to us.

From everyone at Lansbury Lawrence, we wish you a Happy New Year and for those that are celebrating, a joyful Christmas!

Please do take care and stay safe and we’ll see you when school reopens on Tuesday January 5th 2021.

Track and Trace During the Holiday

If one of the children from Lansbury Lawrence tests positive for COVID-19 during the holiday, please use the form on our Contact Page to keep us informed. This is very important and is to help us can support other children and staff who may have been in close contact.

Christmas Performances

The Christmas performances are a big part of our end of year celebrations. This year we were not able to invite you in to school like we normally do, but the children still wanted to share something with you. Below are two Christmas films, one by classes from Nursery – Year 2, and one by Year 3 – Year 6. We hope you enjoy watching them, and we hope we can invite you in to school again soon.
