Some children said they felt calm and relaxed at the beginning, but became scared and nervous once the music grew deeper and louder.

We also explored rhythms and patterns. The children discovered that music often repeats ideas, just like patterns we see in coding or algorithms. They created their own rhythm patterns, played instruments while keeping a steady beat, and talked about how humans create music using voices, bodies, and instruments. They enjoyed recognising patterns in music and experimenting with different sounds to see how patterns could change or repeat.

The children danced to the rhythm, moving naturally as the beat guided their bodies.
We wrote about how Venus, Mars, and Jupiter music made us feel, using adjectives like Venus felt calm, glowing, and peaceful.
We spent the lesson building our own rhythmic patterns where we experimented with new combinations, adjusted patterns, and listened to how small changes could transform the music. Digital tools helped us see how rhythm can be shaped, tested, and refined in different environments.

Alton was proud of his work!
Ameenah listening to the music and feeling the rhythm!
