The last few weeks we have been learning about ‘People Who Help Us’. We had a discussion that lots of people with jobs such as firefighters, police officers, doctors, paramedics and teachers wear a uniform or have a badge to tell you who they are. So in Daisy Class we decided to make our own.

First we chose a shape to draw around.
We then used the scissors to carefully cut out our shape.
We then had to decide how much string to use so that our badges would fit around our necks.
We decided that sellotape would be the best way to stick the string to our badges.
We then had to carefully attach the string to the badge.
Lastly we used an information book about people who help us to write on the front of the badge.
We are very proud of our badges.
