On Tuesday, the reception children had an exciting visit to our local fire station as part of our ‘People Who Help Us’ topic. The children got to climb inside a real fire engine and see all the equipment up close. The firefighters showed us their protective uniform, explained how they keep people safe, and answered lots of curious questions. The highlight of the trip was definitely having a turn with the fire hose — a hands‑on moment the children won’t forget. A big thank you to our local firefighters for keeping us safe and of course, thank you to all the parents who came along.
