Year 5 classes have had a really successful Autumn 1 term and have learned some amazing new things! In Maths, they particularly enjoyed problem solving lessons, In English, they enjoyed learning about Floella Benjamin and writing biographies about her. In science, they enjoyed learning about lifecycles of plants and animals, as well as working in the edible garden and forest school. In wider curriculum lessons, they enjoyed learning all about the Docklands and have answered a big question about the London Docklands, a place of historical significance that we have on our doorstep! Please encourage them to continue reading during the holidays and continue talking about their learning. Here are some beautiful, final pieces of work from year 5, for you to enjoy!
