We’ve had another fantastic and busy day at Lambourne End.
The children began the morning with a full cooked breakfast, including eggs, sausages, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast, which set them up well for the day ahead.
They then moved into their morning activities, which included zip lining, abseiling, high ropes, archery and team-building tasks. It has been great to see the children continuing to challenge themselves and work well together.
Later on, the groups took part in art and bushcraft sessions, where they had the chance to be creative and develop their outdoor skills.
For lunch, the children enjoyed tuna bagels before heading out for a forest walk in the afternoon, making the most of the lovely surroundings.
Dinner this evening was pizza, which went down very well with everyone after a full day of activities. Children enjoyed jelly and icecream too.
The day ended with a campfire, where the children enjoyed making and eating s’mores and drinking hot chocolate together. It was a lovely way to finish another successful day.
The children remain in high spirits and are continuing to make us very proud.
