This morning, Hadid and Peggy Angus dove straight into the world of food technology. We learnt about what the key food staples for people living in early Islamic civilisations were, and we decided to make a simple flatbread with an assortment of savoury and sweet dips to eat together with. First, we made the bread, which was tricky as it became quite sticky when we first started kneading!
Then, we made our tzatziki style dip. Hadid enjoyed tasting the ingredients as well as deciding what they wanted to add to their base.
Next, it was time to fry the bread.
Finally, the best part… eating the bread with our choice of dip!
