This half term, we had a very popular topic about explorers who travelled to both polar and tropical places. We learned about famous historical figures, such as Ernest Shackleton, Alexandra David Neel and most importantly Matthew Henson. We discovered many interesting facts about their journeys, bravery and the challenges they faced.
