What another wonderful opportunity we’ve had to work with The Akram Khan Dance Company!
Both Lichtenstein Class and Peggy Angus Class were thrilled to take part in an inspiring dance workshop with Amy, exploring themes and movements from Chotto Desh. Chotto means small and Desh means homeland.

Through storytelling, rhythm and movement, the children learned how dance can express identity, culture and imagination. Everyone was a little nervous at first as it was their first time dancing in a very long time but quickly relaxed and embraced the beauty of dance. There was laughter, creativity and plenty of energy in the room.

A huge thank you to Ms Sellens for organising this brilliant experience for us. We’re so grateful for the chance to learn from such talented professionals and can’t wait to keep dancing!

Thanks for tuning in,
Peggy Angus and Lichtenstein Class 🙂
