To celebrate Black History Month, Shireen class heard the story of Rosa Parks and spoke about whether or not it is fair to be told where we have to sit on the bus. We decided that it would not be fair if only girl were allowed to sit at the front of the bus. We set up a bus, I was the bus driver and I said that only girls can sit at the front of the bus. I was told that I was not following the school rules and was not being a fantastic friend (which is one of our curriculum goals).

We had lots of fun playing in the garden using the parachute, singing some songs and trying to keep the ball on the top of the parachute.

We had a go at following some instructions and made some characters from our story ‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears’

we have been making some bridges, we looked at images of bridges and then had a go at trying to make our mini me’s making it safely over the bridge.

My FAVOURITE activity was having a pizza shop in the class room, we used the playdoh to roll out some dough, we added our own toppings, took orders and collected money. We have some amazing chefs in the classroom!
