This week, we continued learning about habitats and reading Beyond the Pond in English. In the middle of the week we were invited to the library for story time. The librarian read us a story that was exciting and so interesting. She was a nice lady, and the time in the library was enjoyable.
I remember that maths was a bit hard, but everybody tried. We were reflecting and using what we learnt before to do some addition and subtraction with place value charts. Next, we are learning about length and measuring. Did you know that some people can be good at maths but still find it tricky.
When the sun came out at playtime, it was a surprise and I felt hot even though the weather is cold outside. Inside the classroom this week, we also used different lines to create artwork. The artwork was about flowers and plants, and we learnt that some of our school artists also painted plants in their art. We learnt about tone too.

Tomorrow is Friday, and we think our trip to St Paul’s Cathedral will be an adventure. We learnt about the Great Fire of London last half term, so that is why we are visiting there now.
. . . . We visited the cathedral in the afternoon today. Here are the pictures. Some of us dressed up as characters from 1666 when we were learning from our guide. We also saw the dome from the inside. When we looked up, we saw paintings on the roof, decorations and different shapes. It looks smaller on the inside, but it still looks wonderful.
