What a fantastic way to end the week! The Year 3 children were in for a delightful surprise when the teachers decided to swap classes for the afternoon. The children had no idea what was coming, so you can imagine their excitement when they discovered the change!

Hepworth Class were thrilled to have Mr. McQuaid taking the lead for their computing lesson. The children eagerly dived into new activities, exploring technology in a fun and engaging way. Meanwhile, Hokusai Class had an exciting experience with Mrs. Ferdush, who brought science to life by teaching about light and reflection… through dancing! The classroom was filled with energy, curiosity, and plenty of laughter as the children discovered scientific concepts in a whole new way.

It was wonderful to see the children so enthusiastic and engaged, enjoying the chance to learn from a different teacher and explore subjects in fresh, exciting ways. Experiences like these not only make learning fun but also help children see their lessons from new perspectives.

“Trying something new is the best way to learn.”

Today was a wonderful reminder of just that. The children embraced change with open minds and big smiles, showing how exciting learning can be when we step out of our comfort zones. Whether exploring computing with Mr. McQuaid or discovering light and reflection through dancing with Mrs. Ferdush, Year 3 proved that curiosity and creativity make every lesson shine a little brighter. What a fantastic way to end the week!
