Today, 4B went on a trip to the Soanes Centre to continue our learning about habitats.

When we arrived, we met our guide, Ken, who was very impressed with our existing knowledge of habitats.

After that, we went out into the park to explore different habitats and to see if we could find any living things. We even used keys to classify the animals we found!

First, we looked at a woodland, turning over logs to find the critters lurking beneath…

Then, we got our hands dirty investigating a meadow…

Finally, we used nets to search a pond for the creatures that live there.

A big thank you to the Soanes Centre for having us! We learnt a lot and had a fantastic afternoon.
