Imagining they were part of a general’s family living in ancient Roman Britain, year 3 donned headphones and smiles to continue immersing themselves in their recent history lessons. A Now Press Play session transported the children back in time as they used their knowledge and wits to become part of the Roman army and battle Queen Boudica and the Icenis.
This term, both classes have enjoyed learning how the empire brought a number of changes to life in Britain, and students have been surprised to find out that a lot of them affect how they live today.
