This week Riley Class began our new unit of work on Place Value.  We explored reading, writing and recording numbers in numerals, words and roman numerals.  Some children explored ‘match attack’ cards to include information in a creative way, whilst others looked at how many different ways they could partition numbers.  Problem solving is at the heart of our new curriculum and children had fun exploring different ways to find solutions using a variety of resources and pictorial representations.
