Recently, year 3 began a design & technology project that will end in the students creating a product with a special purpose. Building on their learning about the Festival of Britain, the students are curating an exhibition using the school’s precious photo archive (thanks Ms Sellens) with the help of project designer Lea Jagendorf.

To start, both classes spent all afternoon carefully exploring the archive, and the children look forward to the weeks ahead where they will be categorising what they want to display, making display models and putting their ideas together about how to make the display effective.

The final display will be installed in the front reception for visitors, guests and the community to see, so keep your eyes peeled! It will mark 70 years of our school being built and reminds us that our school was a key part of the Festival of Britain.
