Today 3A and 3B went to the nature garden and The Edible Playground and we were looking at the plant life cycle. We were split into different groups and our class was looking at different stages of growth. The groups were: germination, buds and flowers, pollination, fertilisation, seed dispersal and dead/ dying plants.

We took lots of close up pictures of the stages we saw.

“When I looked at the flower buds I saw they were not fully grown” said Fatima.

“On the plant that was dying, the bottom of the leaf was crumbling and parts of the plant were soft” explained Nazmul.

We even saw some pollinators in action in the edible garden where the bees and butterflies were on the flowers!
