Welcome to the Lansbury Lawrence Primary School website. We hope that you have time to explore it and find out more about us. If you do, you will find out about a school that has a Growth Mindset at its heart. All of our staff and pupils understand that by being ambitious, looking for challenges and working hard, we can go further and do better.
We apply our Growth Mindset to everything that we do; whether we’re making friends, solving a maths challenge, telling a story or building our imagination. It gives us high expectations of ourselves and each other.
Read our news section to find out about the wide range of opportunities and experiences that our children have so that they can find talents, interests and ambitions to nurture and develop.
Spend some time reading our curriculum section where you will find out about our work as a story telling school, our problem solving approach to maths and our themed approach. We have specialist teachers in Art and Drama who work alongside our French Teacher, our Sports coaches and our instrumental tutors to give our children an exciting and varied curriculum.
Our school building was built to commemorate the Festival of Britain and remains a site of historical interest. It is surrounded by our secret garden and woodland area where children can learn, explore and play.
The website will give you a sense of the Lansbury Lawrence community. It’s about more than children working together and supporting each other, it’s also about the staff, the children, our families and the wider community coming together. Lansbury Lawrence is a school that recognises that we are not just teaching the children of today but also the adults that they will become.
